Methods to Pay Your Real Estate Taxes

Beginning in 2026, Dunmore Borough is updating how real estate tax payments are processed as a cost-saving measure for taxpayers. Following a retirement in the tax office, the elected Tax Collector designated Berkheimer, Inc. as Deputy Tax Collector rather than filling the position, allowing the Borough to avoid additional staffing costs while maintaining full service. This approach is used by many municipalities across Pennsylvania and results in long-term operational savings for residents. Please follow payment directions on the tax bill which include Berkheimer’s in person services located at the Marketplace at Steamtown. We are unable to process your payment at the borough building.  If a tax bill is brought to the borough building, it must be in a sealed envelope with the property owner and parcel number legibly written on the envelope. Drop off’s can only be accepted Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm and are to be placed in a drop box that will be forwarded to the Marketplace office. If your taxes are in escrow, please notify your lender of this change.

*This will apply to the School District Tax bill as well*
