On March 20, 2014, the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) received an application for the Phase III expansion of the Keystone Sanitary Landfill (KSL). The Local Municipality Involvement Process meeting was held on May 20, 2014. The application was found to be incomplete and a letter was issued on June 24, 2014. After receipt of additional information on September 9, 2014, October 2, 2014, October 27, 2014 and November 7, 2014, the application was found to be complete and officially accepted on December 17, 2014.
